Mouth Watering Pickled Red Onion Recipe
I remember the first time I had pickled red onions on avocado toast. It was not my first time with pickled red onions however, it changed my life.
Instantly, I made a mental note: learn how to pickle.
Luckily we had half of a red onion in the fridge and just enough Trader Joe's red wine vinegar to make up this easy concoction. I know that some people use lime and truthfully I only had 1 lemon in the house (I like to create with whatever is in the fridge) I feel you can use whatever you have on hand and it will work well.
All of my recipes I typically eye ball the ingredients.
I feel like baking requires more precise measurements however, these fun little recipes and dinners you can really use your own judgment, have a good time with the ingredients and try new things. Side Note: when finished with the onions you will have some left over liquid. I highly recommend adding oil to it and making your own salad dressing. Enjoy!
